Update - Hello

at this time, Databank has resolved the issue and all customer services are back online

we will continue to follow up with databank on this issue to understand how and why this occurred and what we can do in the future to avoid a maintenance causing this sort of disruption

Investigating - This is the latest response we received from Databank

"Please be advised that at this time we have brought in additional network personnel to investigate the issue at DFW1 where they believe a larger issue is present affecting the datacenter where they are going through the switch and router to see where this issue is at. So far they have determined OSPF and BGP are up, but are working to determine why our network is still down"

we are continuing to monitor this situation and working with databank until we have a resolution

Monitoring - Hello

please be advised that the Cartika network in our Dallas location is down.

Apparently this is a result of maintenance by our upstream provider

The notification is not clear that our facility was impacted - nor were we notified

"DescriptionDataBank’s dark fiber provider will be performing a service affecting fiber maintenance / upgrade between DFW3 (8375 Dominion Parkway, Plano, Tx. 75024) and Infomart (1950 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Tx. 75207). If you are receiving this notification your DCI services may be impacted up to 6 hours. MPLS customers will not be affected during this maintenance. The scheduled maintenance date is 5/27/2023 between Midnight CST to 6AM CST. If you have questions or concerns, please contact DataBank support via the DataBank portal "

We will need to engage the provider after the maintenance - however, service will be restored within the next couple of hours once their dark fiber maintenance is complete
